WordPress Search: Can it search PDFs, too?

Do you know of a plugin that can include PDFs (either as external files or integrated into WordPress) in the WordPress search?

  1. What about using Google Site Search? http://www.google.com/support/customsearch/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=72369

This brings me to a question actually: Can you make your search box on your site look as integrated as WordPress Search, but have the engine be Google Site Search?

  2. What about on Foster Travel.

The link above is when I typed in “site:fostertravel.com Santa Barbara” (no quotes) into his Google Search in the sidebar widget. But I suppose we could have a widget that would only search that site (so the “site:thissitehere.com”) and use Google. Right?

Aha, but I haven’t answered the PDF question. I guess that’s just answered if Google can search PDFs. I guess the PDFs have to be searchable, too, not just images.
